Muse:HR
Practical support. Honest advice. Real partnerships.
We help businesses build confident managers, engaged teams and workplaces where people can thrive.
At MUSE & Training, we combine practical HR expertise with engaging training and personalised coaching. Whether you need support with a challenging employee situation, an outsourced HR partner or help developing your people, we take the time to understand your business and find an approach that works for you.
We do HR & Training, but a little differently.
People at the heart. Your business in mind.
Managing people can be one of the most rewarding parts of running a business. It can also be one of the most challenging.
You want to do the right thing for your employees whilst keeping your business moving forward. Sometimes that means getting clear advice on a difficult situation. Sometimes it means giving your managers the confidence and skills to handle things themselves.
That’s where we come in.
Established in 2014 and based in Warwickshire, MUSE & Training supports organisations across the UK, from small, growing businesses to organisations employing over 5,000 people.
We bring straightforward advice, practical support and an understanding of the pressures employers face. By getting to know your people, culture and priorities, we become a trusted extension of your team.
Judi McSweeney – Owner & Founder
I have nearly 30 years’ HR experience working within a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, facilities management, charity sectors and education. I am a Fellow of the CIPD, an NLP practitioner, qualified mediator and DISC practitioner.
A true HR generalist, I have gained experience across all areas of HR, training and development. Having worked at operational and strategic levels, my areas of expertise include Employee Relations, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Coaching, Assessment Centres and Organisational Design and Development.
I really enjoy working with managers and seeing them grow and develop into the best versions of themselves, which means that they can grow and develop their own teams.
For me, people management is about sharing your experiences, allowing others the room to make mistakes, learning from those mistakes and always looking forward to the next steps for improvement. Great managers can really add value to an organisation.
Suzie Brightwell – Senior HR & Training Consultant & People Manager Coach
I’ve always been fascinated by people, what motivates us, how we communicate, and how we grow. That curiosity has shaped a career spanning more than 15 years across Learning & Development, Human Resources, people management and coaching.
My career began in Learning & Development before expanding into HR, where I supported individuals, managers and business leaders through a wide range of workplace challenges. Along the way, I also led teams myself, giving me first-hand insight into the realities of balancing people, performance and business priorities.
Today, I combine my experience in HR, learning and development, coaching and behavioural profiling to help individuals and organisations build confidence, develop capability and achieve meaningful results. My approach is practical, supportive and focused on helping people turn insight into action, whether that’s improving communication, developing leadership skills, navigating change or achieving personal and professional goals.
As a qualified coach through The Coaching Academy and an accredited DISC practitioner, I believe that self-awareness is the foundation of growth. Understanding ourselves and how we relate to others creates opportunities for stronger relationships, better communication and lasting development.
Charlotte Taylor – Senior HR & Training Consultant
I am a CIPD-qualified HR professional with 20 years’ experience across a range of industries, including Retail, Construction, IT and Environmental Services.
I specialise in employee relations and have extensive experience supporting organisations, managers and employees through complex workplace situations. I bring a practical, fair and people-focused approach to my work, with a strong emphasis on building trusted relationships and finding workable solutions.
Alongside my employee relations expertise, I take a broad and strategic approach to HR. I naturally look beyond the immediate issue to consider the wider impact of decisions on employees, teams, organisational priorities and business performance. I enjoy working closely with leaders to understand the bigger picture, challenge thinking where appropriate and help shape approaches that support both people and commercial objectives.
I am also a certified Change Manager through The Coaching Academy, which complements my HR experience and strengthens my ability to support individuals and organisations through periods of change.
I pride myself on being approachable, down-to-earth and able to connect genuinely with the people I work with.
